We had a great time at the Lightshiners Lock-In and serving at Wesley last weekend! We also had a blast tubing the weekend before!
Midweek is on for this Wednesday – hope to see you – tacos for dinner!
Plans are in full swing for the February 11th Sweethearts’ Dinner – all youth are invited to participate in serving, and proceeds from the dinner will benefit Imagine No Malaria as well as local outreach.

All youth activities are on beginning with Youth Group Games in the Cement Room at 4:30pm. miniFLY and Bible Club at 5pm, SGW and Confirmation at 5:30pm, 15:24 Bible Study at 5:30pm, Choirs, etc. Dinner appears to be lasagna – YUM!
SIGN UP TONIGHT FOR:
- Tubing at Buck Hill – this Sunday, January 15 after church – come out and spend the afternoon tubing! Cost is $16 for 2 hours of tubing plus bring your own food money if you want to hang out in the cafeteria and eat. Sign up on the sign up blog post OR sign up on Rachael’s door tonight!
- LIGHTSHINERS Lock-In – Friday January 20…it will be awesome! Sign up at choir tonight. Friends welcome! Grades 6-12.

Here’s what’s coming this week:
WEDNESDAY NIGHT MIDWEEK is ON with all the activities.
Saturday – Come caroling at a nursing home in Saint Paul. The Joy Choir hosts this event each year and it’s lots of fun! The group will be meeting at church at 1:15pm. Let Rachael or Shirley Stann know if you want to ride along!
Sunday – Worship for the second Sunday in Advent, the Sunday of PEACE. Sunday school for all ages. After church, bring some money and head over to Perkins for lunch and conversation…we’ll go around 12:15pm when church is done and finish up around 2pm. We’ll talk about this fall and new ideas for SuperFLY 2012!
Are you (or someone you know) interested in serving as a volunteer camp counselor for our annual week at Northern Pines? We are now accepting applications for Junior and Senior Counselors. You must have finished 11th grade to apply. You’ll want to apply early to reserve your spot on the camp staff for 2012!
Counselor dates are June 22-29, 2012.
