Hey everybody!  Happy Advent!

Here’s what’s coming this week:

WEDNESDAY NIGHT MIDWEEK is ON with all the activities.

Saturday – Come caroling at a nursing home in Saint Paul.  The Joy Choir hosts this event each year and it’s lots of fun!  The group will be meeting at church at 1:15pm.  Let Rachael or Shirley Stann know if you want to ride along!

Sunday – Worship for the second Sunday in Advent, the Sunday of PEACE.  Sunday school for all ages.  After church, bring some money and head over to Perkins for lunch and conversation…we’ll go around 12:15pm when church is done and finish up around 2pm.  We’ll talk about this fall and new ideas for SuperFLY 2012!

Are you (or someone you know) interested in serving as a volunteer camp counselor for our annual week at Northern Pines?  We are now accepting applications for Junior and Senior Counselors.  You must have finished 11th grade to apply.  You’ll want to apply early to reserve your spot on the camp staff for 2012!

Counselor dates are June 22-29, 2012.

Hey All!  We will NOT have youth group on SUNDAY 11/27.  This is a change.  Instead, go home after church and rest so that you can come back for the awesome Hanging of the Greens worship service.

THIS SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 13:  Lightshiners sing at the 8:30 service…be in the Choir Room at 8:00am!

THIS SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 13:  Lunch and a Movie at NOON in the Cement Room – Movie is “Pieces of April”

WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 16:  All Midweek activities – 5:00pm!

SUNDAY NOVEMBER 20:  Lightshiners sing at the 11:00 service…be in the Choir Room at 10:45am!

SUNDAY NOVEMBER 20:  FOOTBALL party after church in the Cement Room – food, football, table games

TONIGHT is Midweek!   All our regular activities are happening PLUS SuperFLY and Pie! starts at 6:45pm in Rachael’s office (for grades 8 and up).

SUNDAY – Lunch and a Movie after the second service…meet in the Cement Room…all ages are welcome, we’ll split into groups to watch 2 different movies.

Hey friends!  It’s time for SuperFARM!  We’ll be leaving Sunday at 12:30pm from church (meet by the garden) and heading to the Warner farm.  We’ll return around 5:30-6pm.  Bring a bag lunch to eat on the way and warm clothes and a jacket!

Hayrides, campfire, scavenger hunt – it will be a blast!

ALL ARE WELCOME!

This Sunday (September 25th), stick around after church and take a nice Fall walk with your friends Bonnie Boots and Jen Johnson to Chipotle for lunch!  Bring money for lunch and a jacket!  If the weather is yucky, you can decide to drive or ride instead of walking.  ALL AGES are welcome to come along!
