The Lightshiners had an awesome remix pool party on Wednesday night, complete with choosing Call to Worship songs, voting on t-shirt designs, pizza, swimming, and rehearsing with Nadia, Janel, Ellen, Cat, and Rachael!

Park in the 5230 building lot by the small playground and follow the sidewalk back to the clubhouse/pool/party room. Anyone interested in walking together to the party can meet Rachael and Cat in the NHUMC Gathering Space at 6:00pm)

Great rehearsal last night. Now, don’t forget the important details for this weekend:
We’re singing/skit-ing at the Harvest Hymn Festival. Please meet in the Gathering Space at church at 6:00PM on Sunday, and please be on time! If you can’t be there, don’t let the team down – let Cat know in advance so that you can still get your sticker. If you don’t know how to reach Cat, check in with Rachael or PD and we’ll give you her number.
We are very, very proud of you!
After MEA break, we’ll be back in action full force this week.

Dear SuperFLY,
A few things are changing in the coming weeks, and we’d love to have you on board to help us keep things moving forward in a positive way.
First, Mrs. Heather Mestad will no longer be serving as our Lightshiners Youth Choir director. For now, the Music and Youth Departments will work together to keep the choir going and to build the program. To make it work, though, we need your help…and your voices!
The SuperFLY and Pie group will no longer meet on Wednesday evenings. Instead, we hope to see many of you returning to Lightshiners rehearsal. You might find pie or other treats in the Lightshiners Room as well. bIf you don’t consider yourself a singer, we’d still love to have you participate in Lightshiners as a skit actor or an instrumentalist!
This coming Wednesday, October 26 at 6:45pm in the Lightshiners Room, we will have a brief time of discussion with Pastor Don and Rachael about what the changes in staff will mean for the choir. Then we’ll have some rehearsal time with Janel and Rachael. We would like to put together a skit to share at the Harvest Hymn Festival on October 30th. We hope that we’ll see many of you in the room that evening to help us get on track. Even if you haven’t attended choir in a while, we appreciate you and want to have you there!
On Wednesday November 2, we’ll have a Lightshiners Remix Pool Party to kick off our new season of music and drama ministry together. We hope that YOU will be there, even if you’ve not been in choir before! You don’t have to be a trained singer to be a part of Lightshiners.
